MATERIALS:

Modge Podge
Sponge Brush
Charger Plates (You can find some great ones at your local thrift store!)
Assorted Fabric (I recommend a smooth, non-applique’d fabric)
Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lay fabric out onto a flat surface.

2. Place the charger plate side down onto the fabric.

3. Cut a circle out of the fabric 1.5-2 inches larger than the charger plate.

4. Flip the charger plate right side up and center the fabric circle over the plate.

5. Place a thin layer of Modge Podge on the center of the charger and press the fabric down onto the plate.

6. Continue placing thin layers of glue and pressing the fabric flat, working in a circular direction until the entire front of the plate has been covered with fabric.

7. Wait a few minutes for the glue to dry and then flip the plate over.

8. The excess fabric will be glued to the back of the plate. Take your scissors and cut slits into the excess fabric every 1-2 inches around the entire plate.

9.Modge Podge the fabric slits down flat onto the back of the charger.
