Slinky Dog Costume

This year Halloween was definitely different from all the rest. The kids may not have gone out trick or treating or had their school’s annual costume contest but I just couldn’t forget our favorite tradition! This year we decided on a single costume for both Alana and Tyler: Slinky Dog from Toy Story! I worked so hard to get this finished by Halloween night and, while they only wore it for a little while, it was still so much fun! MATERIALS:

Felt Fabric in Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Tan, Black, Green, and Pink: Joann Fabrics
Medium-sized styrofoam ball (cut in half for eyes)
A combination of Polyester Batting, Newspaper, and Shredded Foam (Stuffing)
Foam Board (spring)
Webbing (straps)
Hot Glue/Gun
Fabri-Tac
Brother Sewing Machine
