TS Studios: We're Moving!

You guys! I can’t believe everything that’s happened in the last two years! 2020 has been the year of big moves and I’m so excited to share my biggest DIY to date: MY NEW STUDIO! Yep! Yep! You heard that right!

At the beginning of this year, I expanded my office. Well…sorta. Earlier this year I showed you some peeks of my second office space that we set up in the basement but, after about 8.5 months of working in this space, that quickly became too small. I didn’t know what to do, so my husband suggested that we finish the room in our basement and organize it a bit better so that my workflow can be more efficient.

A couple months ago I hired a new assistant. One who has relieved so much stress from my busy mind. She is literally worth every dollar spent. I knew I wanted to hire one more person, but hiring people to work inside my home didn't sound like a good idea to my husband, so he suggested that I get an office outside of the home. He has actually been suggesting this for about a year now, but because I was so comfortable at home, I didn’t want leave home. Basically….I didn’t want to grow up.

So September came around and we’ve had contractors come in and out of our home giving us estimates on finishing the room in the basement. My husband suggested AGAIN that I at least try to look for an office. So I finally decided to entertain his idea. Long story short…..this office kinda fell in my lap. Want a more in-depth story? WATCH HERE.

On September 21, 2020, I signed the papers! I found the perfect warehouse space just 15 minutes from our home but let me just tell you, it did NOT look good! Peeling paint, grody bathroom, water-stained walls, and an eerie green color would’ve sent anyone running. Anyone but me! Funny story, this was the first place I checked out. The realtor mentioned that he showed another business owner this space and she was disgusted. To me, this space was love at first sight! I saw this as the perfect opportunity and space to work on my next big DIY overhaul since I had so much fun with the Patio! I also saw this as an opportunity to expand my business. Are you ready to see how I’ll transform this space?! Follow along week after week as I take you along the journey of me flipping this space upside down on a budget. Did I mention that I had one month to do all of this? I’ll tell you why soon.

Take a look at the photos of the space before the makeover below and try to come up in your mind what you’d do with this space.
