A Virtual Ocean Spray Friendsgiving
One of my favorite traditions around the holidays is Friendsgiving. While I obviously love Thanksgiving, especially since I have so much that I’m thankful for, Friendsgiving has become one of my favorite ways to stay in touch with my friends and plan a time for us to all be together in spite of the crazy schedules with work, kids, and life itself.
This year, a lot of us are doing Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving differently (namely attending on Zoom) but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still have a good time! Check out these fun DIYs that are perfect for your upcoming holiday tables with a bit of a fun twist to them!

This year we were inspired and decided to have a classy rock ‘n’ roll theme! After searching for some older albums as inspiration, I knew I wanted to create a menu to look like a record label! I pulled out my handy Brother Scan N Cut and cut the menus out out of paper after positioning the fonts just how I wanted!
Looking for a use for those leaves piling up in your yard? Go grab your favorites because we’re going to use them as cute name tags! They’re so simple: all you do is spray paint the leaf a solid color, grab your paint or Sharpie marker, and write the name(s) you need on the leaves and you have a cute and natural name tag! For an even easier version, cut out a leaf from a piece of paper and write out! In order to get this fun graffiti look, write each letter close together, overlapping in areas. Once that’s done, outline a paint splatter background behind the letters and fill it in with your color of choice. I decided to attach my name tags to these cute bags of Ocean Spray Cranberries as a cute and healthy take home gift for my guests!
Finally, even though this is a rock ‘n’ roll Thanksgiving, you know I can’t be finished without the cranberries! These cranberry napkin rings are the perfect way to add a cute pop of color to the table! Just take a couple of the berries and thread a strand of thin gauge wire (like floral wire!) through each of the fresh Ocean Spray Cranberries. Wrap the wire around some sort of cylinder (like a thinner can, glass, paint bottle, etc.) a couple of times to shape the napkin ring and make sure it’s big enough to fit around the silverware roll and you instantly have a cute detail perfect for any Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving setting!
Also, in the spirit of Giving, we’re donating to Feeding America. With the Pandemic, so many people are struggling to put food on the table, especially this Thanksgiving. If you are able to donate as well, I know so many people would appreciate it!
