So every Summer, I run into thrift stores and I grab a few pairs of jeans and turn them into shorts because let's be real, who in the world wants to spend over $20 on some shorts that you can distress at home?! Not me!  I purchased these Levi pants in the Men's section at the thrift store.  I remember doing a post about thrifting when I first started blogging and the #1 rule I mentioned was to be open minded.  These "men's" jeans are the perfect fit and surprisingly high-waist jeans. This cheap and easy look is everywhere and it's extremely comfortable. My brother, whom some of you may know, has a men's fashion blog and has recently posted an easy-to-follow tutorial on making your own distressed shorts. In the video, he features 2 styles that you can choose to create.  I will link the video at the bottom of this post.  But, for now, here is what I am wearing for the 4th (until I slip into some comfortable flats ofcourse!).
