Eat your Veggies

Dear Friends,

Welcome to my brand new space!  In celebration of the rebranding of my blog, I thought I'd bring you an amazing tutorial for one of my favorite skirts; the midi.  In the tutorial, I show you how to make a one hour version of the skirt. Its so much fun and extremely easy. Promise!  But first, How adorable is this fabric though? As soon as I saw it, I knew that it had to go right into my growing fabric stash.

"I am obsessed with the hand-drawn veggies printed onto it."

What you'll need:

  • Waistband [2 qty]: Waist measurement + 1 inch.

  • Waistband Interfacing [2 qty]: Same as above

  • Main Body of Skirt: [2 qty]: Length 27 inches.

  • Zipper

Formula for Pleats:

Waist Measurement + 48 + 2= Total Width

Total Width/ 2= Front and Back Pieces.

Its easier working with two smaller pieces [front and back of your skirt] rather that working with one long piece. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to complete your skirt within one hour.
