You guys I’m so excited!!
This is my second pattern in collaboration with Creativebug and I’m so excited that it launches today! You can get ahold of your PDF copy and a thorough step-by-step tutorial on how to sew this pattern here via Creativebug! If you prefer a printed copy, we’ll have those available for you in just a couple of months! I would love for you to check out the video for this pattern. It’s a great pattern for beginners and anyone wanting a sewing palate cleanse!
Say hello to the Billie Dress which is named and inspired by the incredible singer/songwriter Billie Holliday. I highly recommend listening to her music and learning a little about her! Her classic and feminine music and personality inspired the simple and timeless silhouette.
The Billie is a sleeveless, loose-fitting, A-Line dress with a fun, flounced hem. It features a bias bound neckline and armholes, keyhole closure, and pockets for comfort and function. The neckline binding doubles as ties in order to avoid any additional closures.
This is a pattern that you could wear for any season! While we recommend using medium- or light-weight woven fabrics (such as chambray, linen, cotton sateen, cotton twill, denim, corduroy, georgette, or crepe) it’s not impossible to use others!
I hope you love the Billie as much as I do! Take a look below at some of my fabulous testers and their versions of this pattern!💕
