Turquoise Dress

By now I hope you know how much I love fun and bold looks and this dress is no exception!

Cynthia Rowley has always been one of my favorite designers. I love the fun, flirty, and modern styles that she creates and the fact that she creates sewing patterns makes her work even more accessible! I love being able to say that I have a Cynthia Rowley garment because I made it.

When I came across this pattern, I knew that it was perfect as is so I wasn’t going to make any modifications to it. I also created this dress from a dressier fabric that’s been sitting in my stash for ages so I didn’t want to overdo the look!

Since I went with a dressier fabric, I knew that I had to pair them with these fun snakeprint boots I found at Target! They elevate the fabric even more so the whole look seems very Designer-like and the snake print adds a bit more of an edge making it a fun, flirty-yet-edgy outfit.

After making this dress and wearing it a few times, I can truly say that it’s one of my favorite patterns to date! I'd love to remake this look in a less formal fabric for more everyday wear. It’s a perfect throw-over dress for any occasion!
