Puppy Street Style: Anorak Jacket
WHO WORE IT BEST? BLUE VS. WILL OF @BRIGHTBAZAAR
How sweet does he look!? So funny! LOL! So Blue (my puppy) and I was sitting around one day and he told how he wanted me to create a cool look for him. Ofcourse, I couldn’t turn down that sweet little face so I was all in! Blue also mentioned how much he LOVED Will’s style so we found a few looks he liked and I cranked my sewing machine up to sew a few looks for him. So, be prepared over the next few weeks because Blue just might inspire your puppy to have street style too. LOL!
I purchased all of my materials from Joann Stores. The total cost of this coat was less than $10 to make. Inexpensive right?!
MATERIALS:
1/2 Yard Canvas Fabric
1/2 Yard Two- Way Stretch Grey Knit Fabric
2 Gold Buttons
Sewing Pattern-Simplicity S8861
NOTES:
I combined View A and View B.
I used the sleeves of view B
I used the pocket placement of View A
I have a medium sized dog (pitbull) The largest size in this pattern is not big enough for him. I had to size up two sizes. The sizes run very small! Pay very close attention to the measurements.
I completed lined his jacket with a two-way stretch knit. Its soft and warm for our daily walks when the temperature drops. When cutting out your pieces, pay attention to the direction of the stretch in the knit.
