TS Studios: Photography & Film Set

It’s time for the Photography & Film Sets! When I was working from home my space was completely different because I wasn’t filming as much content as I am now! This is where I spend my time sewing, creating, filming, and taking photos of all of my content.

The tools I use varies day to day depending on what I’m working on. Some days I’ll be sewing up a garment so I have my favorite Brother sewing machine out. Other days I’ll be crafting more so the Scan N Cut will be out. It truly depends on what I’m working on that specific day. When I’m not using a machine, it’s stored on the shelves until I do need it to make sure I have plenty of room to create.

I knew I had to utilize every bit of space available for storage. With every sewing and crafting projects there are so many tools and materials you need so I had to make sure I had a space for everything! The wall divider between my filming space and my office is used for thread storage. I have a pegboard on the end to house my embroidery and serger thread. It works but we have to be careful not to bump one otherwise they all fall down!

I also made sure to use the rest of the wall space available by hanging my trusty shoe organizer (used for thread storage) and hanging up my scissors, iron and ironing board, and embroidery hoops.

Since that’s never the end of sewing supply storage, I have drawers underneath the table and my cart from Joann’s for supplies I need more readily available.

I wanted to have something fun for people to look at while I’m on camera so I came up with this painting. This abstract style has been trending on social media for a while now so I sat down and drew out what I wanted. My husband came in to draw it on the wall and my assistant Haley painted the design for me. I just love how it turned out and I’m so excited that it’s going to be featured in my videos from now on!

Last, but certainly not least, is the photography studio. I found this backdrop roller on Amazon that can hold up to 4 different rollers! It makes things so easy to just unroll the color I need for a certain shoot and keeps them out of the way when I don’t. While we have this set up as the dedicated space, it becomes 6 different sets to film and photograph out of for plenty of great options for any occasion!

I never would’ve been able to fit a photography and filming studio in my house or basement. This little section has made all the difference in creating and delivering high quality content!
