Red Fur Coat
Could you tell that this year I was really into making coats? While I’ve loved making coats since the first one I’ve made, this year I was truly inspired by Joann Fabrics. Normally, good quality faux fur can be tough to come by but colored fur is even harder to find!
Once I saw all of the fun, unexpected colors, I knew I had to buy all of it! I was so excited to be able to add some fun furs to my wardrobe and that’s really where most of my motivation and inspiration came for my Season of Coats!
This is already Coat #4 of this year alone and I still have a couple more saved to share with you in the upcoming weeks!
If this fur looks familiar, it should! This is the same fur that I used for my Green Fur Coat! However, with this coat I really wanted to add a fun lining like I did with my Neutral Coat but change things up even more from my normal look! I saw this (super popular) silky leopard print and knew it would be the perfect fabric to give my new coat an unexpected surprise on the inside! Much like my Neutral Coat, the more I wear this coat, the more I love the lining that only I know is there (until I show it off to everyone)! It’s such a fun pop of print to liven up any look and I think I’m starting to love this silky fabric for lining even more than actual lining material!
