Velvet Shacket Coord Set
Shackets (Shirt Jackets) are having a moment. I loved the look of them but I couldn’t see it as apart of my style. Well…..that’s where sewing comes in. I can choose the fabric and create a look that could work for me. This is why I love sewing. Being able to customize something to make it your own is the best! If you love fashion and clothes, sewing your own is ALWAYS the way to go. You have so much of an advantage when you are able to make your own clothes. The options and customizations are endless.
THE LOOK
When creating my look, I wanted a cute coord set. I love the thought of pairing opposite pieces together to create a look, such as, menswear with feminine wear. A mens style, loose shacket, paired with a sexy mini skirt is the perfect look. Its the perfect balance of sexy and class. - Went a size up than I would normally go.
- Removed the pockets and created my own.
