Bronze + Purple Combo
I’ve never been a huge fan of brown. It just doesn’t scream FUN to me. As soon as I saw this fabric, I immediately fell in love. I also thought that maybe the color brown just needs to be paired with a bright color to create a fun moment. I love the playfulness of the fabric and how it unites both colors into this winning color combo.
STYLING
As I mentioned above, I love the playfulness of the print, so I thought that carrying that through the styling would be perfect! Adding bright purple stockings is an unexpected styling accessory. It's definitely something that most people don’t own and you have to have a bit of confidence in yourself to pull these off. But sis, you can most definitely pull these off! I paired the stocking s with some super high bronze platforms. Scary to walk in, but if you wanna make a statement, these heels are it!
SEWING THE LOOK
The pattern is marketed as EASY. Although I do find that the majority of the dress is easy to sew, there are a few things that beginners may find difficult. One being the loop detail on the shoulder and the other sewing on a buttonhole. (There are only 2 buttonholes in this pattern) Buttons are extremely easy to sew using your machine, but a lot people find buttonholes quite intimidating to sew. With that said, I wouldn’t recommend this pattern for someone who is a beginner sewer.

Shortened the length
Bottom tier was a mishap. I cut it too short and to fix it, I sewed the cut off piece back on (cutting it shorter prior to sewing it back on)
