Green Fur Coat

“Successful people are not gifted; they just work hard, then succeed on purpose.”

I told you guys this would be the Season of Coats and I’m still delivering on that promise! I’ve already made 2 coats and I’m still going! Since this is the Season of Coats, I couldn’t let it go by without making a classic fur coat! I saw this faux fur at my local Joann and instantly spent my coins because I had to have it and I’m so happy I did!

Wearing this coat I feel like money. It’s so luxurious that I felt that instant mood boost, especially after seeing heads turn when I walked by. A simple way for anyone to feel their best? Wear a fur coat. There’s a reason women in the 50s went crazy over them!

I wouldn’t recommend trying to sew a fur coat as a beginner. This is definitely more for intermediate sewers because it can be really tricky and requires a lot of patience! Pro tip: Make sure you trim the fur down on your seam allowances (it makes it so much easier to sew!). I normally use scissors but for a quicker option, you can keep an electric razor on hand!
